Meet Dr. Jessica Hawkins
Educator, Researcher, & Educational Consultant
Dr. Jessica Hawkins is an educator, researcher, and educational consultant who helps parents understand what’s really happening in elementary classrooms so they can support their children with calm and confidence.
Her work is rooted in the belief that many of education's most persistent challenges become easier to navigate when viewed through the lens of relationships, development, and human connection. Rather than advocating for the dismantling of existing systems, Dr. Hawkins offers practical perspectives that help families and educators make more informed decisions while strengthening the environments in which children learn.
Drawing from extensive classroom experience across kindergarten through fifth grade, instructional leadership roles, and doctoral research, she bridges the gap between educational theory and everyday practice. Her work explores topics including emotionally safe learning environments, family engagement, social-emotional development, culturally relevant pedagogy, and the ways school systems shape student experiences.
